Caring for People Services seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in home infusion to deliver skilled nursing care in patients' homes, managing vascular access and IV therapies while performing comprehensive assessments for safe treatment.

You will collaborate with providers, educate patients and caregivers, ensure infection prevention standards, maintain accurate documentation, and participate in on-call rotations as needed. A valid RN license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in state of practice.
• Proficiency in vascular access and infusion therapy techniques.
• Ability to work independently in varied home environments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong documentation and EMR proficiency.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
• Physical ability to lift and transport equipment and supplies (25–50 lbs).

Responsabilités

• Performs comprehensive initial and ongoing nursing assessments, including head-to-toe evaluations.
• Initiates and manages peripheral IV access and central venous devices as needed.
• Administers prescribed infusion therapies and monitors for complications.
• Educates patients and caregivers on medications, line care, and safety.
• Documents infusion start/stop times, responses, and tolerance in EMR.
• Collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary team; participates in on-call rotations.
