Job summary

AmeriPharma is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) with home infusion expertise to join our team. You will perform in-home infusion visits and provide education to patients undergoing therapies such as IVIG and IV biologics, under supervision of the Director of Nursing.

The role requires strong nursing judgment, clinical knowledge, and the ability to coordinate care across disciplines. Per diem, flexible hours, independent contractor position in Minneapolis area.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school with a current RN license.
• 2+ years of experience in home infusion and infusion centers.
• 2+ years experience with IV Immunoglobulins and IV Biologics; CRNI certification preferred.
• Experience with peripheral IV starts, infusion therapy, and phlebotomy for adults and pediatrics.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to document accurately.
• CPR and BLS certification; valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-home infusion therapy visits according to the plan of care.
• Prepare nursing notes and document patient interventions.
• Collaborate with pharmacy departments and healthcare providers.
• Educate patients on therapy protocols, side effects, and home infusion procedures.
• Ensure understanding of therapy plans, medications, and adherence.
