Job summary

Palomacares is seeking an experienced Home Infusion Registered Nurse to provide skilled infusion therapy to patients in the Killeen, Texas area. The RN will travel to patients’ homes to deliver high-quality care in accordance with physician orders, pharmacy protocols, and agency policies.

The role requires a Texas RN license, BLS/CPR certification, and at least 1 year of RN experience. Travel is required within the local service area, with flexible scheduling and part-time/PRN employment.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Texas RN license.
• BLS/CPR certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience.
• Ability to travel to patients' homes.
• Competency in infusion procedures and peripheral IVs.

Responsibilities

• Provide home infusion therapy including IV medications and hydration.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments before, during, and after each infusion.
• Manage vascular access devices and provide care for PICC lines, ports, and other devices.
• Educate patients and caregivers on medications and infusion procedures.
• Complete timely electronic documentation following each visit and maintain safety standards.
• Travel throughout the Killeen service area for scheduled patient visits.
