Job summary

Palomacares in Lufkin, Texas is seeking an experienced Home Infusion Registered Nurse to deliver physician-ordered infusion therapy in patients’ homes. The role requires travel throughout the Lufkin service area and flexible scheduling.

You will administer IV medications, monitor for adverse reactions, educate patients and caregivers, and document visits using electronic records while upholding infection-control and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Texas RN license.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience.
• Competency in peripheral IV insertion and central-line care.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
• Smartphone and reliable internet access for scheduling and electronic documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide home infusion therapy, including IV medications, biologics, IVIG, antibiotics, hydration.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments before, during, and after each infusion.
• Initiate and manage peripheral IV access; care for vascular devices.
• Monitor for adverse reactions and respond appropriately.
• Educate patients and caregivers on medications and infusion procedures.
• Complete timely electronic clinical documentation after each visit.
• Travel throughout the Lufkin service area for scheduled visits.
