Job summary

Always Compassionate Health is seeking highly experienced Home Infusion Registered Nurses to provide chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biologic, and other advanced infusion therapies in patients' homes throughout Suffolk County, NY. Ideal candidates have 3–4 years of hands-on chemotherapy/immunotherapy experience, current ONCC/ONS certifications, and a NY RN license.

Qualifications

Active NY RN license with registration.
3–4 years of chemotherapy and immunotherapy administration experience.
Current ONCC/ONS Chemotherapy Immunotherapy certificate or ONCC certification.

Responsibilities

Provide chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biologics, and other infusion therapies in patients' homes.
Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment and respond to adverse reactions.
Perform peripheral IV insertion and manage Central Venous Access (PICC, midlines, ports).
Educate patients and caregivers on treatments, meds, side effects, safety, and contact procedures.
Complete accurate electronic clinical documentation and follow-up visits as ordered.
Precept or evaluate newly hired infusion nurses when requested.
