Job summary

Always Compassionate Health is actively seeking highly experienced Home Infusion Registered Nurses to provide chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biologics, and other advanced infusion therapies in patients’ homes across Queens, NY. The role targets RNs with 3–4 years of recent chemotherapy and immunotherapy experience and current ONCC/ONS certification.

Responsibilities include home assessments, administering therapies, monitoring, line management, and patient education.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted NY RN license and registration.
• 3–4 years of recent chemotherapy and immunotherapy administration experience.
• Current ONCC/ONS Chemotherapy Immunotherapy certificate or ONCC certification.
• Recent infusion experience in home care, oncology, infusion center, hospital, or clinic.
• Competency administering chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biologics, and other infusion therapies.
• Strong venous-access and central-line skills.
• BLS certification; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments in the patient’s home.
• Review and interpret physicians’ orders and treatment plans.
• Prepare and administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biologics, and prescribed infusion therapies.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment.
• Recognize and respond to infusion reactions and clinical changes.
• Perform peripheral IV insertion and phlebotomy.
• Access and manage PICCs, midlines, central venous catheters, ports, and line maintenance.
• Educate patients and caregivers on treatment, meds, side effects, safety, and escalation steps.
• Communicate with patients, families, infusion pharmacies, physicians, and internal staff.
• Complete accurate electronic documentation and follow-up visits.
