Job summary

Amerita is seeking a skilled Home Infusion RN to deliver patient-centered care in patients' homes around El Paso, TX. You will manage infusion therapies, coordinate with the care team, and ensure compliance with standards while traveling to patient residences.

Requirements include an active RN license, BSN preferred, and 1+ year of infusion/home health experience with strong IV therapy skills and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• RN license in state(s) of practice.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Infusion and home health care experience preferred.
• Extensive IV therapy experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Flexible schedule with the availability to work a variety of shift models.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Travel: 100% driving to patient homes for visits.

Responsibilities

• Assess all patients assigned and establish and implement the Plan of Care.
• Adhere to policies addressing infusion nursing, pharmacy services, and state laws.
• Follow INS and IgNS standards, CDC guidelines, and ANA code of ethics.
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff, sales partners, ordering provider, and patient to monitor therapies.
• Complete patient care documentation in the home or AIS.
• Manage vascular access devices and draw labs via venipuncture.
• Educate patients and caregivers.
• Evaluate progress and advise physicians on Plan of Care changes.
• Coordinate nursing care with home health and community agencies.
• Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled.
• Complete expense reports including mileage.
• Complete annual competencies and mandatory training.
