Job summary

Float Health connects experienced nurses with patients needing specialty medications administered at home. Nurses work as independent contractors and choose visits that fit their schedule and location, with no minimum commitment or obligation to accept a visit.

As a Float Health nurse, you will provide one-on-one infusion care in patients' homes, administer IV medications such as IVIG and monoclonal antibodies, and monitor patients throughout treatment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with an active RN license; ADN/BSN accepted.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Proof of nursing liability insurance or willingness to obtain coverage during onboarding.
• 3+ years of hospital-based nursing experience OR home infusion/infusion center experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one specialty infusion care in patients' homes.
• Administer IV medications such as IVIG and monoclonal antibodies.
• Start and maintain peripheral IVs; monitor patients during treatment.
• Provide patient education and support; deliver compassionate care.

What You'll Do

As a Float Health nurse, you'll provide one-on-one specialty infusion care in patients' homes, including:

• Administering IV medications such as IVIG and monoclonal antibodies
• Starting and maintaining peripheral IVs
• Monitoring patients throughout treatment
• Providing patient education and support
• Delivering safe, efficient, compassionate nursing care

Requirements

• Education/Licensure: Graduate of an accredited nursing program with an active RN license; ADN/BSN accepted
• Current BLS certification
• Proof of nursing liability insurance or willingness to obtain coverage during onboarding
• 3+ years of hospital-based nursing experience OR home infusion/infusion center experience
