Job summary

Float Health is hiring nurses to provide one-on-one specialty infusion care in patients' homes. You choose from available visits that fit your location and schedule, with no minimum commitment or obligation to accept a visit.

As a Float Health nurse, you will administer IV medications, start and maintain IVs, monitor patients, and deliver compassionate care. This independent contractor role offers flexible hours and location-based scheduling in the Carson City area.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (ADN/BSN accepted).
• Current BLS certification.
• Proof of nursing liability insurance or willingness to obtain coverage during onboarding.
• 3+ years of hospital-based nursing experience OR home infusion/infusion center experience.

Responsibilities

• Administer IV medications such as IVIG and monoclonal antibodies.
• Start and maintain peripheral IVs.
• Monitor patients throughout treatment.
• Provide patient education and support.
• Deliver safe, efficient nursing care.

What You'll Do

As a Float Health nurse, you'll provide one-on-one specialty infusion care in patients' homes, including:

• Administering IV medications such as IVIG and monoclonal antibodies
• Starting and maintaining peripheral IVs
• Monitoring patients throughout treatment
• Providing patient education and support
• Delivering safe, efficient, compassionate nursing care

Requirements

• Education/Licensure: Graduate of an accredited nursing program with an active RN license; ADN/BSN accepted
• Current BLS certification
• Proof of nursing liability insurance or willingness to obtain coverage during onboarding
• 3+ years of hospital-based nursing experience OR home infusion/infusion center experience
