Job summary

Float Health connects experienced nurses with patients who need in-home specialty medication administration. Nurses work as independent contractors, selecting available visits that fit their schedule and location.

As a Float Health nurse, you will provide one-on-one infusion care in patients' homes, administering IV medications, starting and maintaining IVs, and monitoring patients throughout treatment with a focus on safety and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with an active RN license; ADN/BSN accepted
• Current BLS certification
• Proof of nursing liability insurance or willingness to obtain coverage during onboarding
• 3+ years of hospital-based nursing experience OR home infusion/infusion center experience
• Experience in Home Infusion, Infusion Center, Oncology, Emergency Department, ICU / Critical Care, Hematology, Infectious Disease, Home Health

Responsibilities

• Administering IV medications such as IVIG and monoclonal antibodies
• Starting and maintaining peripheral IVs
• Monitoring patients throughout treatment
• Providing patient education and support
• Delivering safe, efficient, compassionate nursing care
