Job summary

Float Health connects experienced nurses with patients needing specialty medications administered in patients' homes. You will provide one-on-one infusion care, administering IV medications and monitoring patients throughout treatment, all while maintaining high standards of safety and compassion.

The role is an independent contractor position with flexible scheduling, allowing you to select available home visits that fit your location and availability.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required (ADN/BSN accepted).
• Current BLS certification needed.
• Proof of nursing liability insurance or willingness to obtain during onboarding.
• 3+ years hospital-based nursing experience OR home infusion/infusion center experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one specialty infusion care in patients' homes.
• Administer IV medications (e.g., IVIG, monoclonal antibodies).
• Start and maintain peripheral IVs.
• Monitor patients during treatment and provide education and support.
• Deliver safe, efficient nursing care with compassion.

What You'll Do

As a Float Health nurse, you'll provide one-on-one specialty infusion care in patients' homes, including:

• Administering IV medications such as IVIG and monoclonal antibodies
• Starting and maintaining peripheral IVs
• Monitoring patients throughout treatment
• Providing patient education and support
• Delivering safe, efficient, compassionate nursing care

Requirements

• Education/Licensure: Graduate of an accredited nursing program with an active RN license; ADN/BSN accepted
• Current BLS certification
• Proof of nursing liability insurance or willingness to obtain coverage during onboarding
• 3+ years of hospital-based nursing experience OR home infusion/infusion center experience
