Job summary

InfuCare Rx Cumberland, MD is seeking a Pharmacy Service Representative to act as the patient advocate, ensuring prescribed therapy and care plans are followed. You will support delivery coordination for acute and specialty medications, manage patient communications, and assist with digital platform education.

Reporting to Pharmacist-In-Charge, this role emphasizes accurate data handling, scheduling notifications, and timely patient support.

Qualifications

• Healthcare experience required.
• Must possess a Maryland Pharmacy Technician license in good standing.
• Specialty Pharmacy and Home Infusion Services experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products.
• Experience with information technology a plus.
• Have a drive for results, competitive spirit, and self-accountability for achievement.
• Clear, concise communication and proven past success.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with patients to ensure proper delivery of medications for scheduled infusion appointments.
• During communication with patients, understand how to properly complete assessment.
• Assist with education for the patient on using the Digital platform.
• Ensure patients receive notifications and understand appointment schedules.
• Respond to patient calls timely and appropriately.
• Obtain and update necessary patient demographic data per policies.
• Data enters relevant communications in progress notes of the pharmacy system.
• Assist with picking and packing products in preparation for shipping.
• Attend meetings and assist in business development, including launching a data collection software.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
