Job summary

Your Talent Team seeks a Home Infusion Pharmacy Manager (PIC) to lead all departments, ensuring regulatory compliance and operational excellence. The role includes fiscal oversight and strategic communication with owners and the corporate office.

The ideal candidate will have a PharmD or BS, strong people skills, and expertise in sterile compounding and infusion therapies, with a focus on quality and cost-effective care.

Qualifications

• B.S. or PharmD in good standing with GA Board of Pharmacy
• Strong interpersonal skills with staff, referral sources, physicians, and consumers
• Excellent written and verbal customer service skills and advanced computer skills
• Business and financial understanding of operating a profitable business
• Three (3) years clinical experience (preferred)
• Experience with management of pharmacy support personnel (preferred)
• Minimum one (1) year experience with infusion therapy and sterile compounding (preferred)
• Sterile compounding training (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Performs pharmacy management activities in compliance with regulatory and ethical standards and organizational policies and procedures
• Oversees the physical maintenance and organization of the pharmacy
• Acts as a liaison between the Board of Managements and staff
• Interviews, orients, and evaluates employees within company departments
• Upholds regulatory mandates on health care provision by professionals
• Resolves questions, problems, and issues across departments
• Implements and upholds company policies and protocols for consumer service
• Participates in strategic planning to increase revenue and improve quality of care
• Maintains knowledge of USP <797> for quality, sterility, and stability of sterile preparations
• Oversees performance improvement processes and assigns staff to initiatives
• Reviews charts and lab results for therapeutic appropriateness and cost-effectiveness
• Monitors patient progress and communicates results to physician and healthcare team
• Supervises pharmac staff in compounding, packaging, and labeling
• Trains and orients new employees and supports performance improvement activities
• Participates in on-call rotation as needed
