An Infusion Nurse II coordinates and provides intermediate direct patient care under a physician’s plan of care, ensuring patient safety with continuity and compliance under supervision. This RN role requires licensure, CPR, and infusion nursing experience, with opportunities to mentor others within a nationwide

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Infusion nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Initiates, develops, and implements intermediate nursing plan of care treatments, evaluating patient progress towards goals.
• Assesses patient needs and physical status at each skilled visit; communicates with physician and documents changes.
• Provides training and mentorship to Infusion Nurse I’s as needed.
• Educates patients and families to achieve independence with prescribed therapy and care.
• Completes clinical documentation in real-time and ensures compliance with timelines for billing.
• Coordinates discharge planning and provides reports on patient care needs and progress.
