Job summary

Naven Health is a nationwide home infusion nursing network delivering specialized infusion care to patients at home or other infusion sites. The Infusion Nurse I provides direct patient care under supervision, ensuring safety and adherence to physician plans of care.

Responsibilities include performing treatments, educating patients and families, and maintaining meticulous documentation for billing and compliance. Requires active RN license, CPR, and up to 2 years infusion experience.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum 0–2 years of infusion nursing experience.
• Current CPR certification required (in-person class).

Responsibilities

• Initiates and implements basic nursing plan of care treatments and educates patients and families.
• Assesses patient needs at each visit and documents physician orders revisions.
• Provides patient teaching to promote independence with prescribed therapy.
• Communicates with clinical team to ensure continuity of care and timely documentation.
• Coordinates discharge planning and prepares discharge summaries with instructions.
• Adheres to agency policies, standards, and HIPAA/privacy requirements.
• Maximizes efficiency with computers and nursing software tools.
• Responds to patient requests and delivers emergency procedures as needed.
• Ensures compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines.
