Job summary

Lowe’s Customer Service Associate role in Ware, MA, offers engaging customer interactions and help with home-improvement questions. You’ll assist shoppers, locate products, and ensure orders and deliveries align with customer expectations while working across departments as needed.

The position requires friendly, service-oriented candidates who can handle multiple tasks, lift up to 25 lbs, and work on your feet in a retail environment. Training and growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

• 6 Months Experience using a computer to input, access, modify, or output information.
• 6 Months Experience using common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets.
• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction).
• Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities.
• Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe’s, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Down stock merchandise by looking for empty areas on shelves and replenishing supplies.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise as expected and on time.
• Cross-functionally train in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service.
• Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut and bundle wood, cut drywall, cut blinds).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
