Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a Customer Service Associate in Morganton, NC. You will welcome customers, help them locate products, and ensure a smooth shopping experience across departments. You will assist with merchandise organization, checkout, and overall store support to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities vary by department and include answering questions, stocking, processing orders, and cross-training in other areas to deliver exceptional service in a dynamic home improvement environment.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer (inputting, accessing, modifying data)
• 6 months experience with common retail technology (smartphones/tablets)
• Reading, writing and basic arithmetic skills
• Ability to stand/sit for extended periods and perform duties as required
• Minimally lift 25 lbs unassisted or more with/without accommodation

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and deliver friendly, professional service
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise
• Restock shelves and manage stock levels in assigned area
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive items on time
• Cross-train in other store areas to support customer service excellence
• Prepare department merchandise per customer needs (e.g., paint, pipes, wood, drywall)
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout
• Perform other duties as assigned
