Job summary

Lowe's is hiring a Sales Specialist to greet customers, understand their home improvement needs, and guide them to the right products. You’ll become the product expert, discussing specifications, promotions, and financing options to close sales.

You will work in one of several departments and contribute to team success by delivering exceptional service, meeting sales goals, and supporting store operations. This role emphasizes customer engagement and product knowledge.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualification: High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience in customer-facing sales or Lowe's retail environment.
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding customer needs and communicating product advantages.
• Serve as a point of contact for customers and vendors within your department, handling estimates and orders.
• In Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales and services.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with vendors to reorder stock.
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing documentation.
• Support checkout functions and assist customers on the floor.
• Train associates and coach on development needs.
