Job summary

Lowe's Home Centers, LLC is hiring a Sales Specialist to engage customers on the sales floor, understand project needs, and guide them toward the right products and services. You’ll become a product expert, explain features and financing options, and close sales through thoughtful consultation.

The role supports various departments, offers performance-based bonuses, and provides health benefits and 401(k) options. Part-time opportunities with flexible schedules are available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of experience in customer-facing sales or Lowe’s retail experience (or 3 years external sales / 18 months Lowe’s if education is not met).
• 1 year of sales or customer service experience in a sales environment with goals or metrics.
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Minimally lift 25 lbs unassisted or with accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding needs and communicating advantages.
• Serve as point of contact for customers and vendors within your department, managing estimates and orders.
• If in Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales.
• Monitor inventory levels, work with vendors and stores to locate merchandise.
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing documentation.
• Support checkout functions and departmental communications.
• Train associates in the department and coach development needs.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
