Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. in Louisiana is seeking a Sales Specialist to help customers identify project needs and close sales with knowledgeable guidance. You will become a product expert and discuss specifications, promotions, and financing options to ensure customer satisfaction.

In this role you may work in Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, Millwork, Plumbing, or other departments, delivering friendly service and meeting sales goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe’s retail experience.
• 1 year in sales or customer service with sales goals or metrics.
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Ability to stand and sit for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding needs and explaining Lowe's products and services.
• Serve as a point of contact for customers and vendors within your department and manage orders.
• If in Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales.
• Monitor inventory, work with vendors to find stock, and order replacements.
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing documentation.
• Support checkout functions and departmental requests, and assist customers.
• Train associates on the sales floor and support development.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
