Job summary

Lowe's in Texas is seeking a Sales Specialist who will be one of the first people customers meet. You will help customers find the products they need and encourage them to transform a great project idea into reality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include high school diploma or GED.
• 1 year experience in customer-facing sales or 6 months of Lowe’s retail experience (or 3 years external sales or 18 months Lowe’s retail if education not met).
• 1 year of experience in sales or customer service in a sales environment with goals/metrics.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding needs and communicating product advantages.
• Serve as point of contact for customers and vendors within department, manage estimates and orders.
• In Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales and services.
• Monitor inventory levels and work with vendors to replace stock.
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing/docs.
• Support checkout and store communications.
• Train associates on the sales floor and coach on development.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
