Job summary

Lowe’s Companies, Inc. is seeking a Sales Specialist to greet customers, assess project needs, and guide them to the right products. You’ll explain features, promotions, and financing options to close sales on the store floor or garden center.

You’ll be the product expert, answering questions, providing accurate estimates, and delivering exceptional service. This role covers several departments based on need, offering opportunities for growth and bonus earnings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience in customer-facing sales or 6 months at Lowe’s retail (or 3 years external sales) if education is not met.
• 1 year of sales or customer service experience in a sales environment with sales goals/metrics.
• Must read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding customer needs and conveying Lowe’s advantages.
• Act as department point of contact with customers and vendors; estimate projects and schedule installer visits.
• If in Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales and services.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with vendors/stores for stock.
