Job summary

Lowe’s is hiring a Sales Specialist to greet customers, discuss project needs, and guide them to the right products and services. You’ll become a product expert, communicating specifications, features, and financing options to close sales.

The role involves working in one of several departments and requires strong communication, a customer-first mindset, and proficiency in handling sales processes from inquiry to installation coordination.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in customer-facing sales or 6 months in Lowe’s retail experience
• 1 year of experience in sales or customer service in a sales environment with sales goals or metrics
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic
• Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods
• Minimally lift 25 lbs unassisted or with assistance as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding customer needs and explaining Lowe’s products and services
• Serve as a point of contact for customers and vendors within your department
• If in the Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with vendors to restock
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing documentation
• Train associates on the sales floor and support development needs
