Job summary

Lowe’s is hiring a Sales Specialist in the United States to help customers find home improvement solutions and transform ideas into reality. You’ll be the first contact for shoppers, sharing product details, promotions, and financing options to close sales.

You will work across departments like Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, and more, moving throughout the store to assist customers and resolve questions. Training and growth are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirement is a high school diploma and customer-facing sales experience.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic; standing for long periods.
• Willingness to obtain required state sales registrations if needed; Lowe’s supports this.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding needs and communicating product advantages.
• Serve as a point of contact for customers and vendors within your department, handling estimates and installations.
• If in Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales and services.
• Monitor inventory levels to support sales and coordinate stock with vendors and stores.
• Perform price reviews per pricing policies and maintain pricing documentation.
• Support all checkout functions and assist customers as needed.
• Train associates in the department and coach development needs.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
