Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a Sales Specialist to greet customers, understand project needs, and guide them to the right products and services. You’ll become a product expert, explain features and promotions, and help close sales on the shop floor.

In a fast-paced environment, you’ll interact with customers across departments, handle orders and installations where needed, and support checkout processes while delivering exceptional service. This role supports part-time schedules with benefits eligibility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year experience in customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe's retail experience.
• 1 year sales or customer service experience with goals or metrics.
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Lift 25 lbs unassisted or more with/without accommodation.
• Obtain sales-related licensure if required by state.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding needs and communicating advantages of Lowe's products.
• Serve as a point of contact for customers and vendors, managing estimates, orders and installations.
• If in Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales and services.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock with vendors and stores.
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing documentation.
• Support checkout functions and department communications.
• Train associates on the sales floor and coach development needs.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
