Job summary

Lowe’s is seeking a Customer Service Associate to greet customers, help find products, process orders, and provide friendly service across multiple departments at our Mount Pleasant store. You will engage with customers, handle merchandise, and assist with checkout while learning various store areas.

The role emphasizes strong customer interaction, basic computer use, and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs, with opportunities for bilingual communication and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Six months experience using a computer.
• Six months experience using common retail technology (smartphones/tablets).
• Reading, writing and basic arithmetic.
• Able to perform duties with prolonged standing and lifting up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and deliver friendly, professional service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Replenish stock and ensure shelves are organized.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately.
• Cross-train in other store areas to improve customer service.
• Prepare department merchandise per customer needs (e.g., paint, pipes, wood).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
