Job summary

Lowe's Home Improvement in Americus, GA is seeking a Customer Service Associate to welcome customers and help them find the right home improvement products. In this role you will answer questions, assist with locating merchandise, stock shelves, process orders and deliveries, and sometimes cross-train in other store areas.The position offers part-time flexibility, opportunities for growth, benefits including health insurance, tuition assistance, a 401(k) match, and an associate discount.

Qualifications

• Six months experience using a computer.
• Six months experience with retail technology such as smartphones and tablets.
• Reading, writing, and basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's and deliver friendly, professional service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Down stock merchandise by stocking shelves and replenishing supplies.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive items on time.
• Cross-train in other areas of the store to improve customer service.
• Prepare merchandise in your department (e.g., tint/mix paint, cut and thread pipe).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
