Job summary

Lowe’s Companies, Inc. is hiring a Customer Service Associate in Lumberton, NC. You will welcome customers, help them find products, and resolve questions while supporting store operations.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer.
• 6 months experience using common retail technology.
• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe’s, answer questions, and deliver friendly customer service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise
• Down stock merchandise by looking for empty areas on shelves and replenishing supplies
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise as expected and on time
• Cross-functionally train in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service
• Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut and bundle wood, cut drywall, cut blinds)
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout
• Complete other duties as assigned
