Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Associate to welcome customers and help them find products for home improvement needs. You will interact with shoppers throughout the day, assist in locating merchandise, process orders, and support multiple departments as needed.

The role emphasizes strong customer communication, ability to work in a fast-paced store environment, and willingness to learn across departments. Part-time opportunities and benefits are available.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience using a computer (inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information).
• 6 months of experience using common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets.
• Reading, writing and basic arithmetic (addition/subtraction).
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform duties as required.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs unassisted or with accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's and deliver friendly, professional service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Replenish stock by identifying empty shelf space and restocking supplies.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately to ensure on-time receipt of merchandise.
• Cross-train in other areas of the store to improve customer service.
• Prepare department merchandise according to customer needs (e.g., tint/mix paint, cut/thread pipe, cut/bundle wood, cut drywall, cut blinds).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
