Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a Customer Service Associate to welcome customers and help them find the right products and services for their home projects. You will interact with customers throughout the day, assist with locating, selecting, and sometimes loading merchandise, and ensure customer needs are met.

Daily tasks vary by department and include answering questions, stocking shelves, processing orders, and training in other areas to deliver superior service.

Qualifications

• 6 months of computer experience (inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information).
• 6 months of experience with common retail technology (smartphones/tablets).
• Reading, writing and basic arithmetic abilities required.
• Ability to stand, sit, and perform duties as needed.
• Ability to lift 25lbs unassisted or 25lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's, answer questions and provide friendly service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Stock shelves by identifying empty spaces and replenishing items.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately to meet expectations.
• Cross-train in other areas to deliver the best customer service.
• Prepare department merchandize based on customer needs (e.g., paint, pipes, wood, drywall).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
