Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a Customer Service Associate to help customers with home improvement needs in-store. You’ll greet customers, locate products, assist with loading and checkout, and adapt to department needs. The role emphasizes friendly service, accuracy, and teamwork in a friendly retail environment.

You may work across departments such as Appliances, Hardware, Lawn and Garden, and more, with a focus on delivering accessible help and solutions to customers throughout the day.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer or equivalent.
• 6 months experience with common retail technology (smartphones, tablets).
• Reading, writing and basic arithmetic proficiency.
• Able to perform duties requiring prolonged standing, sitting or other activity.
• Minimal lifting of 25 lbs unassisted or more with accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's and deliver friendly, professional service.
• Assist customers in locating and handling merchandise
• Stock shelves and replenish supplies as needed
• Process orders and deliveries accurately
• Cross-functionally train in other areas to improve service
• Prepare department merchandise per customer needs (e.g., tint/paint, pipe, wood, drywall, blinds)
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout
• Complete other duties as assigned
