Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a Customer Service Associate to welcome customers, help them locate products, and provide top-notch service across departments. You will assist with loading, stocking, and processing orders while ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers.

The role supports various departments (Appliances, Hardware, Tools, Lumber, etc.) and may involve cross-training to deliver the best possible service. This is a part-time in-store position.

Qualifications

• Basic computer use with 6 months of experience.
• Experience with retail technology such as smartphones and tablets.
• Reading, writing, and basic arithmetic.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform duties as required.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs unassisted; team lifts for heavier items when needed.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Stock merchandise by identifying empty spaces on shelves and replenishing supplies.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive items on time.
• Cross-train in other store areas to help deliver the best customer service.
• Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut and bundle wood).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
