Job summary

Lowe's is hiring a Customer Service Associate to welcome customers and help them find products and services for home improvement needs. You will interact with customers, locate merchandise, and ensure customer needs are met throughout the day in a busy retail environment.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, answering questions, stocking shelves, processing orders and deliveries, and cross-training in other store areas to deliver outstanding service. Training and safety are emphasized.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer
• 6 months experience using common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets
• Reading, writing, and basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
• Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities
• Minimally lift 25 lbs unassisted or over 25 lbs with or without accommodation

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise
• Down stock merchandise by looking for empty areas on shelves and replenishing supplies
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise as expected and on time
• Cross-functionally train in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service
• Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut and bundle wood, cut drywall, cut blinds)
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout
• Complete other duties as assigned
