Job summary

Lowe's is hiring a Customer Service Associate to welcome customers and help them find products and services for home improvement. You will assist across departments, answer questions, and ensure customer needs are met throughout the day.

Responsibilities include helping customers locate merchandise, stocking shelves, processing orders, and potentially training in other areas to improve service delivery. Local store needs may vary by department.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer (inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information)
• 6 months experience using common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets
• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
• Able to perform duties with prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities
• Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without accommodation

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's, answer questions, and deliver friendly customer service
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise
• Down stock merchandise by checking shelves and replenishing supplies
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive items on time
• Cross-functionally train in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service
• Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut and bundle wood)
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout
• Complete other duties as assigned
