Job summary

Rotech Healthcare Inc. seeks a Customer Service Representative to join our home healthcare intake team.

You’ll be the first contact for patients and referral sources, handling intake, insurance verification, and coordination of durable medical equipment and respiratory services. Ideal candidates have experience in home healthcare or medical billing, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Candidates may qualify through a combination of education, training, and relevant work experience.
• Education requirements follow applicable laws and regulations.
• High school diploma or GED may be preferred depending on the position.

Responsibilities

• Verify insurance coverage (Medicare, Medicaid, private payers).
• Coordinate documentation and service setup for respiratory products and medical equipment.
• Be the first point of contact for patients and referral sources; ensure timely service and inquiries resolution.
• Assist with office operations including supply monitoring, deposits, and batch reporting.
• May cover on call, drive a company vehicle, and make home deliveries as needed.
