Job summary

CenterWell Home Health in Mississippi seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver at-home or facility-based services, evaluating and treating speech, voice and swallowing disorders. You will develop care plans, document progress, and educate patients and families.

Requirements include ASHA CCC, current SLP license, CPR, and a valid driver's license. Prior home health experience is a plus, with pay range defined and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (ASHA) is required.
• Current, unrestricted license to practice Speech-Language Pathology.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, direct and provide speech/language pathology services to patients in the home or facility.
• Develop and periodically review the Plan of Treatment and Plan of Care.
• Assess and treat disorders of speech, voice, language, hearing and swallowing to improve function.
• Administer and interpret diagnostic tests and therapeutic applications, including audio logic screening.
• Observe, document and report changes in patient condition to supervisor/physician.
• Provide instruction on alternative communication methods when appropriate.
• Counsel patients, families and healthcare staff; maintain documentation and reports as required.
• Participate in care coordination and discharge planning.

Education

Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology (ASHA)

Current, unrestricted professional licensure in SLP

Current CPR certification
