Job summary

Residential Home Health and Hospice is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a part-time Home Health role in Lansdowne, PA. The position offers 20 hours per week with an emphasis on autonomy, patient relationships, and growth. Eligible for a $5,000 first-year bonus and ongoing rewards for performance.

You will conduct comprehensive evaluations, develop treatment plans, educate patients and caregivers, and handle EMR documentation while traveling to patient homes within the territory.

Qualifications

• Active SLP license in the state you work.
• At least 1 year of experience as an SLP.
• Driver’s license and ability to travel about 20% of your workday.

Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled, patient-centered care in a home health setting with an interdisciplinary team.
• Perform comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, cognition, and swallowing.
• Develop individualized treatment plans to support safety, independence and quality of life.
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises.
• Ensure thorough EMR documentation and travel to patient homes within the assigned territory.

SLP Qualifications

• Active Speech Language Pathologist, SLP license in the state you work
• One year of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist and the clinical expertise to deliver quality patient care
• Due to the field-based nature of this home health position, a valid driver’s license and the ability to spend approximately 20% of your workday driving to and from patient locations are required.
