• Proficiency in clinical skills with the ability to work under direction and make sound judgments.
• Ability to interpret data reflecting patient status to identify requirements across ages.
• Ability to operate standard clinical equipment and documentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Assumes responsibility for caseloads in specialty areas.
• Conducts initial assessment to obtain thorough physical, social and environmental data.
• Establishes the plan of care in accordance with physician orders and patient needs.
• Provides direct patient care and adjusts nursing care; identifies problems and evaluates outcomes.
• Completes documentation including visit assessments and orders accurately and promptly.
• Communicates with physicians to update patient plans of care and coordinate care.
