Job summary

PruittHealth Corporation is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for Home Health Services in the Aiken area. You will provide therapy in patients’ homes under the supervision of a physical therapist, with a focus on implementing and adjusting the plan of care in collaboration with the care team.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid and unrestricted professional license in state of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Minimum of 2 years' therapy experience.
• Valid driver’s license and automobile liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development and implementation of the plan of care within goals defined by physician, patient/family and inter-disciplinary team.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and attending physician to manage the patient care plan of care.
• Demonstrate competency in home care and patient care skills for providing care.
• Complete documentation timely and accurately at the point of care.
• Assist the physical therapist in assessing physical disability and function level.
