Job summary

PruittHealth is hiring a Physical Therapy Assistant to deliver home health PT services in patients' residences under the supervision of a physical therapist. You will help implement the plan of care and work with an interdisciplinary team to support patient goals.

Qualified candidates have at least 2 years of therapy experience, graduation from an accredited PTA program, and an active PTA license in the state.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' therapy experience.
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Valid driver’s license and automobile liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development and implementation of the plan of care within physician and patient goals.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to manage the patient care plan of care.
• Demonstrate competency in home care patient care skills as required.
• Meet agency productivity standards and use time/resources efficiently.
• Complete documentation timely and accurately at the point of care.
• Assist the physical therapist in assessing disability and functional level of patients.
• Maintain current license, certification, and records to meet regulations.
• Participate in surveys and required reports as needed.
• Report suspected violations to supervisor and resolve issues.
