Job summary

PruittHealth @ Home is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to provide home-based PT under supervision, in patients' residences across Aiken, Edgefield, and Saluda. Per diem schedule with top pay structure ties compensation to visit effort and time outside visits.

Responsibilities include supporting the plan of care, collaborating with the physician and interdisciplinary team, and documenting care timely. Must hold PTA license, CPR, and relevant program accreditation.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid and unrestricted professional license in state of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• If foreign-trained, the program must be deemed substantially equivalent to a PTA entry level education in the U.S. by a credentials evaluation organization approved by the APTA.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development and implementation of the plan of care within physician/patient goals.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to integrate and manage the patient care plan.
• Maintain competency and intermediate knowledge of home care and discipline-specific skills.
• Meet agency productivity standards and use time/resources effectively.
