PARS Therapy in Garland, TX seeks a compassionate Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support patients in their recovery journey. You will work under a licensed Physical Therapist to restore mobility and independence in the home setting.

Qualifications

• Active Texas PTA license required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Professional liability insurance coverage is required.
• Home health or rehabilitation experience preferred.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
• Clinical experience as a PTA is expected.
• Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability in care approaches.
• Solid understanding of current treatment techniques and therapy practices.
• Professional and compassionate when educating and engaging with patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide home health physical therapy services under licensed PT supervision.
• Assist patient goals and implement mobility and functional interventions.
• Deliver evidence-based, cost-effective treatments to promote movement and independence.
• Support non-surgical alternatives and reduce medication reliance through therapy.
• Develop and carry out individualized care plans using proven techniques.
• Create wellness and fitness programs tailored to each patient’s condition.
• Educate and motivate patients to participate actively in rehabilitation.
• Improve strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising therapist.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services and patient records.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervising therapist or clinical manager.
