Job summary

PARS Therapy is seeking a compassionate Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Round Rock, TX, to support patients throughout recovery. You will help restore mobility and independence in the home setting, under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, delivering personalized, compassionate care that improves quality of life.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, document services, and contribute to plan-of-care development.

Qualifications

• Active PTA license in Texas.
• Current CPR certification.
• Professional liability insurance coverage.
• Experience in home health or rehabilitation settings.
• Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary care team.
• Clinical experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Ability to adapt care approaches to patient needs.
• Knowledge of current treatment techniques and therapy practices.
• Professional and compassionate when educating patients.

Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy services in the home setting under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist and per the plan of care.
• Identify patient goals and implement interventions to meet mobility and functional needs.
• Provide evidence-based treatments that promote movement and independence.
• Support alternatives to surgery and reduce medication reliance through therapy.
• Develop and carry out individualized care plans using proven techniques.
• Create wellness and fitness programs tailored to each patient’s condition and goals.
• Educate and motivate patients to participate actively in rehabilitation.
• Promote overall health by improving strength, flexibility, coordination and balance.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for high-quality care.
• Monitor progress, evaluate outcomes, and communicate updates to the supervising therapist.
• Document all services and maintain patient records.
