Job summary
PARS Therapy in Houston, TX is seeking a compassionate Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support patients in their recovery journey. Qualifications
- Active Texas PTA license.
- Current CPR certification.
- Professional liability insurance coverage.
- Home health or rehabilitation experience preferred.
- Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary care team.
- Demonstrated clinical PTA experience.
Responsibilities
- Deliver in-home physical therapy under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Identify patient goals and implement interventions to meet mobility needs.
- Develop individualized care plans and document all services.
- Educate and motivate patients to participate in rehabilitation.
- Promote strength, flexibility, coordination and balance.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for coordinated care.
- Monitor progress and communicate updates to supervising therapist.
- Maintain timely, complete patient records.
