Elara Caring is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our home health team in Missouri. You will work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to deliver high-quality therapy in patients' homes, focusing on mobility, independence, and safe, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, educating patients and families, and reporting progress while maintaining compliance with state guidelines and professional standards. A valid PTA license is required.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted PTA license valid for the state of work.
• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy assistant program approved by the American Therapy Association.
• 6+ months experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant is preferred.
• Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, and support up to 50 pounds, including positioning or transferring patients and moving equipment.
• Must possess a valid driver's license, maintain an acceptable driving record, OR have reliable transportation to travel between patient homes and assigned work locations.

Responsabilités

• Provide physical therapy services according to the treatment plan established by the Physical Therapist.
• Help patients work toward therapy goals that improve mobility, function, and independence.
• Monitor patient progress and promptly report changes in condition or concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home therapy programs and techniques to support continued progress.
• Teach patients and families how to safely use assistive devices, including canes, walkers, wheelchairs, prosthetics, and orthotics.
• Deliver safe, high-quality therapy services in accordance with physician orders, clinical standards, and state practice guidelines

Formation

Graduate of an accredited physical therapy assistant program approved by the American Therapy Association
