Job summary

Elara Caring is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team and deliver high-quality home-based therapies. You will work under a supervising Physical Therapist to implement treatment plans, educate patients and families, and support mobility and independence in treated individuals.

The role requires an unrestricted PTA license in the state, a PTA program graduate, and the ability to travel between patient homes. A driver’s license or reliable transportation is essential.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted PTA license valid for the state of work.
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program approved by the American Therapy Association.
• 6+ months experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant preferred.
• Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, and support up to 50 pounds.
• Must have a valid driver’s license or reliable transportation to travel between patient homes.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services according to the treatment plan established by the Physical Therapist.
• Help patients work toward therapy goals that improve mobility, function, and independence.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising Physical Therapist.
