Job summary

Elara Caring is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our home care team in Indiana. You will deliver therapy under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, helping patients progress toward mobility goals and independence in their homes.

Responsibilities include evaluating progress, educating patients and caregivers, and safely using assistive devices. A PTA license and valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted PTA license valid for the state of work.
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• 6+ months experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant preferred.
• Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, and support up to 50 pounds.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license or reliable transportation to travel between patient homes.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services according to the treatment plan established by the Physical Therapist.
• Help patients work toward therapy goals that improve mobility, function, and independence.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising Physical Therapist.
