Job summary

Elara Caring seeks a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to join our home-based care team. You will implement treatment plans under supervision and help patients improve mobility and independence in their homes.

This role requires driving between patient homes, lifting up to 50 pounds, and a valid driver's license. Previous PTA experience is preferred, with opportunities for tuition reimbursement and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted PTA license valid for the state of work.
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program approved by the American Therapy Association.
• 6+ months experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and travel between patient homes.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services according to the treatment plan established by the Physical Therapist.
• Help patients work toward therapy goals that improve mobility, function, and independence.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home therapy programs and techniques.
• Teach patients and families how to safely use assistive devices.
• Deliver safe, high-quality therapy services per physician orders and guidelines.
