Job summary

AMEDISYS HOME HEALTH is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to provide patient-centered PT services in home health settings. You will work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist and coordinate with the care team to support patient goals and wellness in the home environment.

The position offers full-time daytime hours, a competitive hourly rate, and a benefits package including medical plans, PTO, retirement match, and family support programs.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a PTA in the assigned state.
• Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited PTA program.
• At least 1 year PTA experience in home health or related field.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services under supervision of a licensed PT.
• Observe and document patient responses to therapy.
• Coordinate care and refer to resources as needed.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and documentation.
• Participate in care conferences and quality improvement activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
