Job summary

HCA Healthcare’s Home Health team is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to cover South Austin. The role focuses on delivering individualized home-based physical therapy and collaborating with supervising PTs.

Responsibilities include guiding patients through exercises, applying therapy techniques, monitoring progress, and educating families. Senior staff provide growth paths and scheduling flexibility within the Home Health unit.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA) with active license
• Driver License required
• Associate Degree required

Responsibilities

• Delivering therapeutic exercises and functional training to help patients regain independence and mobility
• Applying physical therapy techniques and modalities to reduce pain and restore function
• Monitoring patient progress and documenting responses to ensure safe, effective care
• Teaching patients and families how to use assistive devices and follow home exercise programs
• Collaborating with PTs, nurses, aides and the care team to ensure excellent patient experience
